Types of pelvic pain
Sacral iliac pain
The sacroiliac joint is the joint that joins the sacrum, the final bone of the spine in the form of a triangle, with the pelvis, the rest of the hip. This joint is responsible for allowing the transmission of forces from the lumbar spine to the hips and from there to the rest of the legs to the feet. Its function is essential to allow us to perform daily gestures such as getting up, walking, climbing stairs or running. Its pain can radiate to the gluteal region, end of the spine and back of the thigh.

Hip osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis of the hip involves degeneration and wear and tear of this vital joint for leg movement. It occurs “through wear and tear” and triggers limitations in everyday movements such as bending the trunk, stooping or standing up. Its development is usually slow and the pain appears progressively and worsens over time. As there is no cure, the mission will be to stop the deterioration of the joint and provide the ideal conditions for it to last for many years.

The hip tendinitis is an inflammation of the tendons that connect the muscles to the bones in the hip region. It is a common cause of lateral or anterior pain in this area, especially in people who are active or perform repetitive movements. The most commonly affected tendons are those of the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus, psoas-iliacy tensor fascia latae. This condition can make it difficult to walk, climb stairs, sit or lie on the affected side.
