The Procedure
Diagnosis and assessment:
In order to correctly apply this treatment and obtain the effectiveness it can provide, a correct diagnosis and evaluation of the patient is essential. For this, a visit to the physiotherapist is essential, where we will ask specific questions that, together with the physical examination and evaluation of the complementary tests, will allow us to determine more precisely what the cause or causes of the pain are.
Treatment:
A blunt, flexible needle is introduced directly into the target tissue under ultrasound guidance so that it is local, precise and focused.
Effectiveness
In optimal conditions, the effects would be noticed 2-3 days after treatment.
