Regenerative medicine
Regenerative Medicine is a treatment based on the patient’s own blood that has a concentration of platelets and other plasma bioactive elements above normal values. Platelets release growth factors and other biomolecules, which are the natural active principles responsible for the stimulation and acceleration of local tissue healing. Whenever damage occurs, this biological mechanism of repair and regeneration is automatically activated. The treatment makes it possible to concentrate a large amount of growth factors close to the lesion.

Treatment through Renenerative Medicine
To apply the treatment it is necessary to follow the following process:
- An anticoagulated blood sample is obtained from the patient and processed under controlled conditions.
- The blood components are separated and the fraction containing the most appropriate concentration of platelets is selected.
- It is administered in the area to be treated by injection.
- This treatment is performed with certified medical devices, specialized and with total guarantee of quality (CE marking).
For which pathologies is it indicated
- Arthrosis
- Tendinitis and other tendon pathologies
- Meniscus and ligament injuries
- Muscle tears
- Foot injuries
- Pseudarthrosis
- In surgery (osteotomies, arthroplasties, etc.)
- Others: surgical wounds, chronic ulcers, etc.
The procedure
In order to correctly apply the treatment and obtain the efficacy it can provide, a correct diagnosis and evaluation of the patient is essential. The doctor will ask specific questions that, together with the physical examination and evaluation of the complementary tests, will allow a more precise determination of the cause or causes of the pain.
We recommend one or several applications, with a frequency that depends on the clinical situation and other criteria to be considered by the physician.
