Advanced physiotherapy is one that combines the use of the latest technologies and devices with the highest quality care for patients. These tools are incorporated in the centers where we offer this service.

Shock Waves
Shock wave therapy is a non-invasive therapy based on the application of high intensity pulsed acoustic waves applied to different pain points.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
- Tendinopathies
- Hernias
- Meniscus pathologies
- Fasciitis
- Calcifications
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: application of high energy shock waves.
- Maintenance: the treatment will be repeated during several sessions according to the diagnosis made.
- Efficacy: with a few sessions it is usually possible to significantly reduce pain and improve mobility.
Magnetolith
Magnetolith treatment is a very innovative non-invasive treatment that helps repair and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries by applying pulsed electromagnetic waves through the stimulation of cellular activity. It is a very comfortable and effective therapy that generates a high frequency magnetic field, allowing a great depth of penetration and an extensive area of application. It helps to reactivate cellular metabolism and stabilize certain physiological processes, positively influencing the affected cells.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
- Arthrosis
- Back pain due to herniated disc
- Spondylolysis
- Spondylolisthesis
- Canal stenosis
- Chronic low back pain
- Radiculopathies
- Tendinopathies
- Pubalgias
- Meniscopathies
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: lasts between 20-30 minutes. The patient is comfortably positioned and the flexible support adapts to the area.
- It does not require hospitalization in most cases.
- Efficacy: in most cases a good performance is obtained and a great relief of pain in both degenerative diseases due to wear and tear or autoimmune diseases.
SUPER INDUCTIVE SYSTEM
The super inductive system is a non-invasive and painless technology based on electromagnetic fields that promote recovery in trauma and rheumatic pathologies.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
- Arthrosis
- Back pain due to herniated disc
- Spondylolysis
- Spondylolisthesis
- Canal stenosis
- Chronic low back pain,
- Radiculopathies
- Tendinopathies
- Pubalgias
- Meniscopathies
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: with the patient comfortably positioned, the technology is applied.
- Maintenance: the treatment will be repeated during several sessions according to the diagnosis made and as a complementary therapy.
Red Cord or NEURAC® therapy
Red Cord therapy or NEURAC® therapy is a suspension treatment system in which the patient is suspended in the air and held in place by grips. It works the deepest muscles keeping the vertebrae in the optimal position, decreasing pain in a surprising way.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
-
- Arthrosis
- Back pain due to herniated disc
- Spondylolysis
- Spondylolisthesis
- Canal stenosis
- Chronic low back pain,
- Radiculopathies
- Tendinopathies
- Pubalgias
- Meniscopathies
- The Procedure:
-
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: with the patient comfortably positioned under a suspension system. Active work according to muscle chains.
- Maintenance: the treatment will be repeated during several sessions according to the diagnosis made.
SURFACE ELECTROMYOGRAPHY
Surface electromyography is the recording of extracellular electrical signals generated by muscle fibers and transmitted through tissues. Electromyography analyzes the integrity of the entire motor system, which includes upper and lower motor neurons, the neuromuscular junction and the muscle.
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment to evaluate imbalances of a muscle group or several muscle groups.
- Treatment: according to the results of the surface EMG diagnostic test, active therapy work is created to work on the imbalances that have occurred.
- Maintenance: the assessment will be repeated in alternative sessions to see the evolution of possible muscular imbalances and to modify the active work plan based on them.
EPI
Percutaneous Intratisular Electrolysis EPI® is a revolutionary invasive physiotherapy method that applies a continuous electric current through a needle in the painful area guided by ultrasound, this causes a series of biological, mechanical, biomechanical and functional changes in a musculoskeletal tissue.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
- Tendinitis
- Chronic tendinosis
- Muscle fibrosis
- Ligamentous Fibrosis
- Myofascial pain
- Bursitis
- Capsular retractions
- Nerve injuries
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: a blunt, flexible needle is introduced directly into the target tissue under ultrasound guidance so that it is local, precise and focused.
- Efficacy: under optimal conditions, the effects would be noticed 2-3 days after treatment.
PERCUTANEOUS NEUROMODULATION
Percutaneous neuromodulation (PNM) is an invasive physical therapy technique that works directly on the nervous system through the introduction of a needle guided by ultrasound through which low frequency current is applied to electrically stimulate the nerve or muscle to improve its function.
- For which pathologies it is indicated:
- Arthrosis
- Muscle ruptures
- Tendinopathies
- Sprains
- Dislocations
- Low back pain
- The Procedure:
- Diagnosis and assessment
- Treatment: needles are introduced intratissularly in the vicinity of the peripheral nerve and a low-frequency electrical impulse is introduced.
- No hospitalization is required in most cases.
- Efficacy: after therapy, pain is generally considerably relieved as well as motor activity by decreasing tension and increasing strength over the quality of movement. In case of injury, recovery times would be reduced. On the other hand, tissue oxygenation would be improved and the patient’s functional system would be rebalanced.
