Dr. Rubén Algarra

Director of the Pain Unit MIVI Marbella

Dr. Rubén Algarra is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and interventional treatment of pain and advanced musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

He has developed his career in public and private reference units, leading programs of functional rehabilitation, radiofrequency, ultrasound-guided interventionism, vestibular rehabilitation and approach to complex chronic pain.

He is currently Coordinator of the Pain Unit of MIVI Salud Marbella in Clínica Ochoawhere he applies a comprehensive, minimally invasive and evidence-based approach to improve the quality of life of patients.

His training also includes aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, integrating a global approach to health, wellness and functionality. His goal is to combine clinical knowledge, research and technology to offer effective, safe and personalized solutions in the treatment of pain.

Acudí al Dr. Algarra por mis problemas de espalda y me ha ayudado mucho, especialmente a entender la causa de mi dolor. I cannot praise Dr. Santiago and his team of Erika and Paula, highly enough. After 3 visits I am completely pain free. The girls comforted and relaxed me throughout my treatment and Dr. Santiago is an excellent professional. If you have any pain, make an appointment. You certainly won't regret it. Parece que los seres humanos estamos programados para quejarnos y muchas veces se ve lo que esta bien con normalidad. Después de muchos años padeciendo fuertes dolores y tras someterme en otros centros a otras pruebas e intervenciones , el Dr. Rubén Algarra ha conseguido que a día de hoy viva sin dolor. Desde el primer día que me vio ya acertó con el diagnóstico .Gran profesional al que le estaré eternamente agradecida. Y a la señorita Raquel por su amabilidad y su gran ayuda al darme las citas.
